Gate valves are not elements designed to be used in sewages. Only the elastomeric contact gate valves are usually used in certain types of processes. This type of fluid is characterized for carrying solids and other elements in suspension that block the gate at the closing moment. They are usually tangled in the restraints and other elements, interfering with their correct functioning.
DESIGN
The design of our valve is characterized by carrying no type of articulation.
The stainlees steel guillotine is always moving between the elastomeric sealings, avoiding the entrance of solids or another elements into the mechanical parts of the valve.

THIS ENSURES THAT
• In an opening position the passing is straight and without obstructions. Therefore, it produces neither adherences nor polymerizations.
• At the closing moment, if the guillotine encounters with some obstacle, it will separate it or break it in order to introduce itself into the elastomeric sealings. In this moment the solid will pass and the guillotine will close without difficulty.
• Regarding to the sealing system, this is watertight, considering that it is produced between the seat elastomer and the stainlees steel guillotine.
