In the process of waste water treatment, the first stage is purification. This consists in submitting said waters to a mechanical pretreatment that implies the elimination of solids, sands and greases. The compact pretreatment plant or CPTP allows to purify the water of the contaminants previously described with an efficiency of over 90%. Basically the CPTP is composed by a sieve zone, where the solid retention is done; a sand extracting and decanting zone; and a zone of grease extraction. Each of these zones is conformed by equipment designed to meet the predestined objective in the most efficient possible way.
